I used to think I was trapped.
Stuck in the Midwest, inferiority complex looming on my shoulder like the biggest of chips. Wasted potential dripping from my fingers. Bitter, jaded, and a has-been before I ever-was. I even called myself Mr. Faded Glory (after a Mother Love Bone song) and spent years blogging about nothing.
Instead, I discovered I’m like anyone else. Hopes, dreams, family, pets, thoughts, opinions, questions, skills, talents, failures, all of that and more. I discovered I’m actually kinda good at marketing, advertising, PR and social media. But those all sound like buzzwords. So scratch that.
Anyway, you’re here now, and so am I, commenting on the intersection of marketing, life, and us. Thanks for stopping by.
