Hate to say you told me so…

Well, fudge.

As improbable as it was, I think most of us Cubs fans still wanted to lord the lack of Sammy Sosa’s actual tests, testimony, eyewitness accounts and hearsay over other fans, as circumstantial evidence (or lack thereof) pointing to his cleanliness. You know, just like Cards fans do now.

That’s all over now. And the Hall of Fame is out. And it should be.

But man, he had a great year in 2001. Ron Coomer batted cleanup for that 88-74 team. Ron Coomer!
